The Power of Your Imagination

I Can Do it

“Our ability to see greatness in others will falter if we fail to introduce positive and inspiring messages every day.” — Misti Burmeister

Our imaginations have no difficulty locating and dwelling on all the qualities that make each of our team members less than exceptional.

Yet, we’ve heard the story a million times: Leaders who say, “Give me that territory or that difficult employee, and I’ll show you how to turn it/him around” … and then they do!

So, what makes the difference?

It requires a tremendous amount of effort to shift our internal chatter, but when we do, we’ll see the zillion gifts that lie within the folks on our teams. We’ll even have a new appreciation for our own successes and gifts, as well as the opportunities right in front of us.

Just like a car will ultimately cease to run without regular oil changes, our ability to see greatness in others (and ultimately ourselves) will falter if we fail to purposefully introduce uplifting, positive and inspiring messages every day.

If you’re irritated with their performance, consider injecting a dose of inspiration, passion and excitement into yours. Help yourself – and your team – remember where this journey is leading you.

Keeping it simple,
