Leadership doesn’t always announce itself with certainty.
Sometimes it shows up as a quiet nudge.
A pause.
A moment where staying feels safer than stepping forward.
At the February Lewes Leadership Lunch, Alonna Berry will facilitate a thoughtful, engaging conversation about what it takes to pause with intention, pivot with clarity, and act with courage — especially when the path ahead isn’t fully clear.
Drawing from her experience as a community leader and builder across education, nonprofit leadership, and public service, Alonna will reflect on unscripted career leaps and the internal work required to move beyond the fear of saying yes.
This session will explore how leaders can:
  • Recognize when hesitation is rooted in fear rather than readiness
  • Listen more closely to values when making difficult decisions
  • Navigate uncertainty without waiting for perfect clarity
  • Give themselves permission to step forward — even when the outcome isn’t guaranteed
As with all L3 gatherings, this is not a lecture. It’s a facilitated conversation designed to meet leaders where they are — with space to reflect, ask questions, and learn alongside others who care deeply about how leadership is practiced.
Come prepared to pause, reflect, and leave with language and perspective you can carry back into your work and your life.
👉 Reserve your seat now — space is limited.
